Kenya: 18,000 Primary Schools Have No Electricity for New Laptops

PLANS by the government to roll out laptops to class one pupils across the country might be hampered by lack of power in most schools. In a report handed to the Parliamentary Committee on Education last Friday, the ministry acknowledged that “e-readiness in primary schools is poor”.
